Nice people, good service and generous portions at reasonable prices. The special are good value. The haddock is amazing. Today I had Mediterranean chicken and chips special. + a scallop thet was big and melts in your mouth. Street parking is plentiful

Very Friendly and quick service. We had large chips (huge!!) pie , beans, sausage and curry sauce. Everything was absolutely lovely. Chips were honestly the best we have had since we were kids at Granny’s. Little bit crispy on outsides and really soft and fluffy inside … Delicious! Sooo glad you’ve taken it over. We will be back very soon ! Thank you.

My mum recently has moved to alderman's green which is why we tried this chippy. Our usual is Dhillon's which has gone really downhill. We have now been to Alderman's green chippy many times and honestly we love it. Food is super fresh and tasty and reasonably priced!

We used this Chippy last weekend, while our way back from Wyken Slough nature reserve. I got haddock with a cone of chips. The fish was very fresh, the batter was really nice and crisp. Really loved the flavour of fish with the curry sauce. Chips were really hot and crispy as well. Just the way I like it.
